Courtney brings the CSG team significant insight and understanding of political and bureaucratic environments. She began her career as a journalist, reporter, anchor and producer for CTV across Saskatchewan and Alberta, and is adept at recognizing a good angle, and navigating the intricacies of media relations. She acts as coach to many Canadian Strategy Group clients helping them to build and foster relationships, identify opportunities, and leverage connections to accomplish mutually beneficial objectives.

She is also experienced in planning and executing events of all size and types- including large scale conferences, fundraiser, media campaigns and launches and more intimate settings. She has experience in corporate, non-profit and community spheres and understands the subtle, but critical, differences each sector requires for a successful event.

Courtney knows what is required to take an event from average to outstanding. Her media and public relations expertise provides clients with a unique edge delivering an event concept, plan and execution that is thoughtful, professional and focused to ensure a flawlessly executed event that meets your business objectives.

Having grown up in rural surroundings she recognizes the unique challenges and issues of agriculture and rural development, as well as the opportunities it can produce for a province. Courtney has successfully developed and implemented complex government relations strategies, involving numerous stakeholders, intense opposition and media scrutiny, for clients across all sectors.
