Edmonton, AB – September 22, 2015: Canadian Strategy Group (CSG) is pleased to announce that Rick Orman and Brian Storseth are joining the firm as Strategic Counsel to its clients. Orman will help build CSG’s Energy practice, while Storseth will open and lead its Ottawa office as well as work on municipal issues in Alberta.
Rick Orman brings a long and distinguished work history in the public and private sector to the CSG team. He served as MLA for Calgary-Montrose from 1986 until 1993, serving in a number of Cabinet portfolios including Minister of Energy. Since leaving elected office 22 years ago Orman has held numerous senior leadership positions in the energy industry. He has over 30 years of experience providing government relations and business development advice in corporate finance, negotiations, and mergers and acquisitions.

Brian Storseth was the Member of Parliament for Westlock-St. Paul from 2006-2015. He has a wealth of experience dealing with industry, municipalities and aboriginal stakeholders to solve complex problems, including the aftermath of the Cold Lake fire. Prior to holding federal elected office he was a Town Councillor in Barrhead, and also worked on the staff of the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly of Alberta.
