Canadian Strategy Group welcomes Hon. Rob Merrifield

Edmonton, AB – October 1, 2015: Canadian Strategy Group (CSG) announces the addition of Hon. Rob Merrifield to its team in the role of Senior Counsel. Merrifield most recently held the position of Alberta’s Special Representative to the United States, based in Washington D.C. He was a Member of Parliament from 2000-2014, and gained significant experience working on relationships between Canada and the United States during that time. During his time as an MP, Merrifield served in Cabinet as Minister of State (Transport), and was a member of the Treasury Board of Canada. He has worked on a wide range of issues facing Canada and Alberta including Energy, Environment, Trade, Healthcare, Transportation & Agriculture.
